I live in Katy, TX and was wondering if someone could recommend an inexpensive lawn care company (or individual.) The larger companies that advertise are highly priced; I would prefer a word-of-mouth sort of operation. I cut my own grass but the yard needs trimming, some weeding, mulch and maybe even some sod. I also speak pretty excellent Spanish if your referral is not a native English speaker. Thanks.

I current live in a Section 8 Apartment with my Mother while I attend the local College that’s nearby. Generally, the people who seem to live in the Apartment complex here seem to be older. There are a few young, but mostly older people. A lot of them appear to have physical disabilties (Walking with canes, in wheel chairs) My mother has a disability and receives SSI so most here seem to fit in that category.
There are a few younger people here and by that I mean 40s since I don’t see anyone younger than that in this complex. One woman appears to be a bit loony when she came to the door just by what she was saying, but generally speaking I’m surprised that the people here are silent, excellent people. I was skeptical moving into this apartment before I lived here but I really had no choice given that I had no money, but to my surprise this place isn’t terrible at all.
The Apartment is very clean. The Walls look like they have a fresh coat of paint on them. Each room has fans, all the blinds work. It’s not some run-down shack. Even the carpet in the bedroom isn’t half terrible, a small worn but still has some plush left in it.

I wanted to start a lawn care service with my brother. Our ages are 16, and 23. I wanted to find out more about the legal part of starting a service. Is it okay to just go out and advertise for a service like this? Or is there a certain amount of money you can make without being licensed. I don’t plot on this being a large scale business (Really just in the neighborhoods around my town.) If you want more detailsheck out the other question I posted. Thanks!

I like to walk, run, and bike around my neighborhood, but the people in my neighborhood (bone idle, uninformed fools) constantly apply toxic lawn-care chemicals to their lawns, nearly on a weekly basis, and as a result I am constantly exposed to toxic and even carcinogenic fumes and vapors. What can I do? I don’t have a car, so I am quite simply forced to walk or bike. Should I buy a gas mask?
thanks
okay, be sarcastic if you wish, but if you use lawn-care chemicals, or if your neighbors use it, know that it WILL make you sick or even kill you!
