I live in Richmond, VA and im trying to get a business up and strated with a lawn care service. What would be the best marketing thought that I can do to get business coming. Im kinda shy so I dont like going to people door and trying to talk to them. But if some one come up to me im fine. I have flyers made of all size, I place them out in a number a places but im not even get a call. What can I do

Can anyone tell me where one can go to learn about starting a lawn care business? I have found several sources on the web but each charge for a package or course. Do we need to have a license and if so where to go to obtain one in Texas.

I have tryed and tryed to master my flower bed with now luck is there any help full websites or should I just pay someone? Everything I plant dies, looks terrible, or just look excellent. Any helpfull sugestions?
